'Incredible and engaging' - Warner Bros.

Aside from the technical challenges of creating double exposures in motion, it was important to us we tell a story that was enhanced by the technique.

We decided to tell an inside out story. The plot itself was very simple, letting us dwell in each moment with the aim to create an atmosphere of meditation and thought.

The larger versions of the actors would be a representation of the character's internal emotions and conflicts, while the smaller second exposure would be a more literal insight into what was happening in their lives together.

The film needed to engage the audience but not over power the music and lyrics.
